The Larsen Excel Tire Centre in Penticton, B.C., is the best source for tires and auto service in the Penticton, Summerland and Oliver areas. The facility is family-owned and operated by Rick Larsen and his son David. They both grew up in the automotive service industry. Larsens’ Excel Tire Centre has been offering Penticton residents access to tires, wheels, struts, shocks, batteries and exhaust for more than 60 years.

More Than Just Penticton Tires
Far more than just a tire place, Larsen Excel Tire Centre’s automotive technicians offer skilled automotive services of almost every variety. If you need truck or car repairs, including work on your transmission, radiator, alignments, suspension or exhaust system, bring it to the Larsens’ Excel Tire Centre. You’ll be refreshed by their traditional values as they work to make your auto repair experience reliable, valuable and affordable.

As one of the Larsens’ customers says, “The Larsens and their employees make their customers feel like a member of the family. They’re ready to offer expert advice both on tire purchases and on almost all types of car repair.”

Tips from the Penticton Tires Source
Owner Rick Larsen says the most important things car owners can do to ensure the long life of their vehicle’s tires is to check the air pressure and rotate the tires regularly. It’s all too common for car owners to neglect these simple maintenance points and thus shorten the lifespan of their tires. Rick drives a Dodge Truck with high performance Michelin LTX tires and you’d better believe he takes good care of those tires!

Other Locations Served by Larsen Excel Tire
In addition to serving the Penticton area, those looking for tires in Summerland, Oliver, Keremeos should also give Larsen Excel Tire Centre a try. Rick, David, and the rest of the crew at Larsen Excel Tire Centre are ready to give your car the care it deserves.

The AGM was going smoothly but after sitting in a ballroom all day, we all took a well deserved break and went to the Giggle Dam in Port Coquitlam for an evening of Dinner and Entertainment. Honestly, it was a hoot. Everybody had a great time, laughed their butts off, and I think we’ll all be talking about it for months to come.

Randy, of Randy’s Excel Tire in Tsawwassen, was the one who suggested we go because he had been numerous times before. Granted, the jokes might not be everyone’s idea of humour, but there’s basically no way you can hold the laughter in when one of your friends is on stage dressed up as an ugly bride with no shirt on.

The performers were absolutely incredible. Not only were they hilarious, but they could dance and sing really well to boot. They are all top tier performers who deserve all the good fortune they have coming to them.

Oh, don’t let me forget the food either. They give you the choice of a few different main courses, and there is something for everybody. Personally, I tasted both the lamb korma and the chicken in a peanut sauce. Both were cooked to perfection and the chicken was especially moist and delicious.

At the end of the night, we were all loosened up and maybe even ready for another day of AGM. I must say though, if you have an event of any sort, please check out the giggle dam. We had an amazing time.

The 2011 annual general meeting is happening today and tomorrow at the River Rock Casino in Richmond. We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone and can’t wait to make some moves, talk about the state of the industry and see what’s happening with our sister stores.

The event is being coordinated by Jenna Bayuk who works with The Finer Details event Planning. Honestly, it should be a pretty good time considering we’re talking business for two days.

The new version of exceltire.com is here. Its aim is to keep the communication channels between Excel and the customers as open and accessible as possible.

Okay. Here it is. The much more interactive and complete exceltire.com. We chose to build it on WordPress this time around so that we could manage it ourselves and keep in touch with you, the customer, in a much more open and personal forum than the previous site allowed for.

Each of the fifteen locations now has its own blog (which you can find by using the navigation menu at the top) so that everybody’s voice gets heard if they want you to hear it. You may notice there are also some links at the bottom of the page that allow you to follow us around on the various social websites we maintain. If it’s all a bit overwhelming right now, why don’t you just like us on facebook and start following our tweets. From there, everything will come naturally and you’ll never miss out on any specials or announcements we have to make.

If you have any feedback about the new site, feel free to leave a comment, even if it’s negative (I don’t know how it could be) because that’s the whole point of this new website: more interaction with the customers.
