Brake Repair, Replacement and Maintenance
Some people get their brakes checked every six months; others make it an annual appointment. A brake pad’s lifespan depends on its type, what kind of car it’s on, and how often it’s used. For example, the brake pads on a commuter car that is constantly in stop-and-go traffic will deteriorate quicker than ones on a less-taxed vehicle. The most important thing to remember about brakes: if they start squeaking¸ it’s time to get ‘em checked.

Transmission Flushes, Repair and Maintenance
While some people don’t think transmissions need to be flushed, there are those who swear by it. If you want to make sure your engine stays clean and the fluid in your transmission is working at optimal capacity, a flush is recommended every now and again. Excel technicians are also well-versed in transmission replacement and we’re always able to get parts quickly.

Radiator Replacement and Maintenance
Have you been experiencing temperature issues with your vehicle? We can help. Radiator issues can be tricky and the solution is not always obvious. Sometimes radiators just need to be drained and re-filled; other times, full replacement is necessary. We’ll inspect your car and advise on the best option; but we’ll never tell you that your car needs more radiator work than is necessary.

Muffler and Exhaust Issues
Does your car announce itself from miles away? If you answered in the affirmative, that means it’s probably time to replace your muffler and/or exhaust pipe. Muffler and exhaust replacement sounds daunting; but at Excel auto centres, the process is painless and we always keep our customer’s budgets in mind.

Licensed AirCare Inspection Centres
While AirCare may seem like more of a pain than it is worth, think again. Despite significant population growth, the air quality in BC has improved since the implementation of the program. Excel locations are certified to conduct AirCare tests. If your car fails inspection, we’ll get it up to passing condition.

Wheel and Tire Alignment
When your car starts to shimmy and shake down the road, that’s its way of telling you it’s time to get your wheels aligned. Getting regular alignments is a crucial component of tire safety—evenly worn tires are safer tires. It’s recommended that you get your wheels aligned every 8,000 to 11,000 kilometres.
